Description
The micro: Maqueen Lite is an entry-level STEAM educational robot platform powered by the BBC micro:bit. This comprehensive bundle includes two micro:bit V2 boards, the Maqueen robot chassis, and a wireless micro:Gamepad for hands-on remote driving and learning. It is ideal for students aged eight and up, educators, and makers exploring graphical coding, electronics, and robotics.
Complete wireless robotics package
This bundle supplies the Maqueen Lite mobile platform, two micro:bit V2 boards, two 2-in-1 USB cables, a line-tracking map, and a micro:Gamepad. The setup allows learners to establish wireless radio control between the gamepad and the robot right away.

Durable all-metal gear drive
Powered by twin N20 all-metal miniature gear motors with PWM drive, the chassis delivers strong driving force and responsive movement. Custom POM bearing wheels provide smooth obstacle crossing and agile mobility in a compact footprint.

Onboard sensors and lighting
The robot features two infrared line-tracking sensors, an infrared receiver with NEC decoding, a buzzer, two front LEDs, and four 16-million-colour RGB ambient lights. These built-in peripherals enable line following, light shows, and audio feedback without extra wiring.

Versatile hardware expansion
Expandability is built in via an SR04/SR04P ultrasonic interface, a 5V I2C port, three Gravity expansion ports (P0, P1, P2), and six M3 threaded bracket mounting holes. These connection points simplify adding extra sensors and custom mechanical accessories.

Graphical and text-based coding
Maqueen is fully compatible with Microsoft MakeCode and DFRobot Mind+ graphical programming environments. Mind+ also opens the door to Python and Arduino programming as learners advance their coding skills.

Power supply and compact dimensions
Measuring 81 mm by 85 mm by 44 mm and weighing 75.55 g, the platform operates on a 3.5V to 5V DC supply. Power can be supplied using three AAA batteries or a 3.6V to 3.7V lithium battery (batteries available separately).
