LattePanda IOTA M.2 M-Key Expansion Board (NVMe SSD & AI Accel)

The LattePanda IOTA M.2 M-Key Expansion Board converts the native 16-pin FPC interface of the LattePanda IOTA into a high-speed PCIe 3.0 M.2 slot. It enables makers, educators, and embedded developers to add NVMe SSD storage or M.2 AI accelerators to their single-board computer. This compact upgrade is ideal for building edge AI devices, compact servers, and advanced robotics.

Dedicated LattePanda IOTA integration

Engineered exclusively for the LattePanda IOTA, this expansion board connects directly to the native 16-pin FPC interface. The custom design ensures stable signal integrity and precise physical alignment without the compatibility issues of generic adapters.

NVMe storage and AI acceleration

The board provides a PCIe 3.0 x1 interface running at up to 8 GT/s for high-bandwidth peripherals. You can connect an M.2 NVMe SSD for fast operating system storage or an M.2 AI accelerator card to offload machine learning inference from the main processor.

Flexible 2230 and 2280 compatibility

The board accommodates both standard 2280 and compact 2230 M.2 form factors. This layout allows developers to select from a broad variety of commercial NVMe solid-state drives and AI modules to fit specific project constraints.

Plug-and-play FPC connection

Installation requires only connecting the included 16-pin FPC cable, after which compatible devices are automatically detected upon system boot. Please note that this interface is compatible exclusively with PCIe NVMe SSDs and does not support SATA-based M.2 drives.
