LattePanda IOTA M.2 4G LTE Expansion Board (4G Module Not Included)

The LattePanda IOTA M.2 4G LTE Expansion Board provides reliable cellular connectivity for the LattePanda IOTA single-board computer. Designed for makers, IoT engineers, and mobile robotics builders, it introduces an M.2 B-Key slot and an integrated Nano-SIM interface without requiring soldering. It is well suited for remote data loggers, mobile rovers, and off-grid automation projects.

Dedicated LattePanda IOTA integration

Engineered specifically for the LattePanda IOTA, this adapter mounts directly to the host board using screw fixings and a 2.54mm 4-pin header. This plug-and-play approach ensures a stable physical and electrical link over USB 2.0 without the need for soldering.

Standard 3042 M.2 module support

Equipped with an M.2 B-Key slot, the board accommodates 3042-size (30.0mm x 42.0mm) cellular modules that communicate via the USB 2.0 protocol. An onboard Nano-SIM card slot simplifies hardware setup with your chosen network carrier.

Hardware requirements and module compatibility

This expansion board serves as a physical interface adapter and does not include a cellular module, SIM card, or antenna. Tested and recommended modules include the Quectel EM05-CE and Simcom SIM7600H-G-M2.

Applications in remote deployments

Measuring 52mm x 32.5mm, the board allows for compact installations where Wi-Fi or Ethernet is unavailable. It is suited for 4G-connected mobile rovers, remote IoT gateways, in-vehicle dashcam trackers, and cellular failover systems.

Included mounting accessories

The kit includes the M.2 4G LTE expansion board, one M2 hex standoff, two M2 screws, four M2 washers, and a user manual. Note that this adapter is designed exclusively for the LattePanda IOTA and is not compatible with other boards.
