IO Expansion HAT for Raspberry Pi 5 / 4B / 3B+

The IO Expansion HAT for Raspberry Pi 5 / 4B / 3B+ breaks out the board's essential interfaces into accessible, structured headers. It offers an easy connection hub for makers, students, and educators building complex robotics and electronics projects.

Comprehensive interface breakout

This HAT leads out all primary Raspberry Pi IO ports, including digital, analog, PWM, I2C, UART, SPI, and IIS connections. This provides tidy access to every communication bus for quick circuit prototyping.

Plug-and-play Gravity series compatibility

The board is fully compatible with DFRobot Gravity series sensors and actuators. This standard connection format removes complicated wiring work so you can concentrate on project assembly.

Versatile sensor voltage support

While matching the native 3.3V GPIO logic level of the Raspberry Pi, the HAT supports both 3.3V sensors and modules powered by 5V with 3.3V signal levels. The dedicated sensor interface external power rail provides 3.3V.

High-current external PWM power

The HAT includes an external 6V to 12V power input specifically for the PWM ports. This enables reliable control of multiple servos without drawing excessive current through the Raspberry Pi.

Standard HAT form factor

Operating at 5V, the expansion board measures 65 x 56 mm (2.56 x 2.20 inches) to align neatly with Raspberry Pi 5, 4B, and 3B+ boards. The package includes one IO Expansion HAT.
