Description
The IM10A is a high-precision 10-axis MEMS inertial navigation module designed for real-time motion and posture measurement in robotics and autonomous systems. It is an ideal development tool for South African students, educators, and makers working with ROS1 and ROS2 platforms.
Advanced posture dynamics engine
The module combines a three-axis gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer, and barometer using a Kalman filter fusion algorithm. This delivers highly accurate, dynamic, and real-time compensated three-axis posture angle data.

Full ROS1 and ROS2 compatibility
This module fully supports both ROS1 and ROS2 systems with a high data output frequency of up to 200Hz. Dual-system function packages and tutorials are provided to help developers get started quickly.

Integrated ten-axis sensor array
The onboard hardware includes a three-axis gyroscope, a three-axis accelerometer, a three-axis magnetometer, and a barometer. This complete array provides comprehensive motion and environmental feedback.

Onboard barometer for altitude tracking
A built-in barometer measures current altitude and outputs air pressure data. This data can be integrated with other navigation inputs for precise vertical tracking.

High-frequency rich data output
Get raw sensor data and fusion-calculated navigation data, including Euler angles, quaternions, air pressure, and speed, at a frequency of 200Hz. Position data can also be output when combined with an external GNSS module.

Removable CNC metal enclosure
The high-precision CNC metal shell provides excellent heat dissipation and protects the module during long periods of operation. It can be easily removed to access the TTL and I2C pins directly.

Flexible communication interfaces
The module supports USB, UART, and I2C communication protocols to simplify integration with various microcontrollers and single-board computers. It features a standard Type-C port for quick connectivity.
