Description
The Hiwonder JetHexa is an advanced ROS-based hexapod robot powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Nano, designed for sophisticated SLAM mapping, navigation, and AI vision tasks. It is an ideal platform for university students, robotics educators, and advanced hobbyists looking to master deep learning, computer vision, and voice interaction.
NVIDIA Jetson Nano power
Powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Nano, this hexapod robot fully supports the Robot Operating System (ROS). It leverages mainstream deep learning frameworks, OpenCV for image processing, MediaPipe development, YOLO model training, and TensorRT acceleration.

Intelligent serial bus servos
The robot is driven by intelligent serial bus servos featuring over-temperature protection and an anti-blocking function. A rotation range of up to 240 degrees significantly extends the hexapod's exploration capabilities.

Advanced 3D depth camera
The integrated 3D depth camera enables depth image data processing, 3D visual mapping, navigation, and AI-driven visual gameplay. It allows the robot to acquire detailed 3D point cloud images for precise spatial awareness.

Six-channel far-field microphone array
Equipped with a six-channel far-field microphone array and speakers, the system supports sound source positioning, voice recognition, and voice navigation. This hardware enables high-precision, noise-reduced sound source localisation.

High-torque smart bus servos
JetHexa features 35kg high-torque smart bus servos that offer high precision, real-time feedback, and simplified wiring. These robust actuators ensure stable and accurate movement across complex terrains.

Voice interaction and speech broadcast
The integrated Text-To-Speech (TTS) function converts ROS-published text into spoken audio, facilitating natural human-robot interaction. Combined with voice recognition, users can command the robot to navigate to specific map coordinates using voice control.
