The Hiwonder Aurora930 Pro is an advanced 3D structured light depth camera designed to bring high-precision spatial awareness and AI vision to your robotic projects. Ideal for students, educators, and advanced makers working with ROS, this compact module handles depth modelling, human feature recognition, and 3D object detection without draining your main controller's computing resources.
Advanced structured light 3D imaging
The camera accurately captures depth images within a range of 0.3 to 3 metres using integrated structured light technology. It supports advanced AI functions including depth modelling, human feature recognition, and 3D object detection and positioning.

Dedicated ASIC depth processing chip
A custom-optimised chip handles depth sensing directly on the module, delivering low-power, high-precision real-time 3D modelling. This onboard processing provides powerful perception capabilities without needing extra computing resources from your main robot controller.

Onboard ISP image signal processor
The integrated high-performance ISP intelligently enhances raw image data to improve depth detail restoration. This ensures reliable performance and clearer imaging, especially in low-light environments.

High-frequency laser projection module
This module utilises high-frequency structured light projection to ensure stable, interference-free depth measurement. It allows the camera to maintain accurate tracking even in dynamic, fast-moving scenes.

Lightweight aluminium alloy casing
Featuring a sleek, compact structural design, the camera is housed in a durable aluminium alloy casing. Pre-drilled mounting holes make it easy to integrate into a wide range of robotic chassis and maker projects.

Equipped with a high-frequency projection module and an infrared receiving lens, the camera offers a 74-degree horizontal field of view. This broader perspective meets the wide-angle requirements of mobile robots and autonomous navigation.

Monocular disparity depth imaging
Using structured light 3D imaging with a monocular disparity algorithm and active light projection, the camera accurately captures depth data. This enables precise measurements within a range of 0.3 to 3 metres.

Versatile indoor and outdoor operation
Designed to handle a wide illumination range from 3 to 80,000 lux, this module delivers high-quality imaging in diverse conditions. It remains highly effective under challenging lighting, including low light and strong backlighting.
