Gravity: IO Sensor Shield For Arduino Mega Due

The Gravity IO Sensor Shield transforms your Arduino Mega or Due into a powerful central hub for robotics, IoT, and data-logging projects. Designed for students, makers, and prototyping engineers, it eliminates messy wiring by providing dedicated plug-and-play Gravity interfaces alongside standard shield expansion.

Extensive Gravity sensor breakouts

The board breaks out digital pins 14 to 53, analog pins 6 to 15, and PWM pins 2 to 9 into standard 3-pin Gravity interfaces for fast sensor connections. Standard Uno-compatible headers are also preserved so you can stack additional Arduino shields on top.

Triple Xbee communication sockets

Three dedicated Xbee slots enable multi-node wireless networking directly from the shield. Slot 1 routes to the primary hardware serial port, while slots 2 and 3 connect directly to Serial1 and Serial2 on the Arduino Mega.

External servo power input

An onboard screw terminal connector allows you to attach an external power supply to drive large servo arrays directly. An integrated switch lets you toggle between external power and the Arduino board supply.

Integrated microSD data logging

An onboard microSD card slot facilitates local data gathering and telemetry storage for your research algorithms and automation projects. Extended TTL connection pins are also provided for four serial ports.

Prototyping area and onboard debugging

A dedicated DIP prototyping grid allows you to solder custom modules and components directly to the board. The shield also features a built-in 3.3V voltage regulator, a top-facing reset button, and a test LED for quick diagnostics.
