Description
The FireBeetle 2 ESP32-UE (N16R2) is a compact, low-power IoT development board powered by a dual-core 240MHz ESP32 processor with expanded 16MB Flash and 2MB PSRAM. Equipped with an external antenna connector and an onboard display interface, it is ideal for makers, engineering students, and developers building long-range wireless projects and smart devices.
High-gain external wireless connectivity
Built around the ESP32-WROOM-32UE module, this board features a dedicated connector for an external 2.4GHz antenna to provide superior signal range over standard PCB antennas. It supports both Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth 4.2 (BR/EDR/BLE) dual-mode communication.

Versatile peripherals and GDI port
The board breaks out 17 digital pins, 11 analogue pins, 3 UARTs, SPI, I2C, I2S, and 2 DAC interfaces, along with an onboard WS2812 RGB LED. An integrated GDI port enables plug-and-play connection to compatible graphical display screens.

Dual power inputs with charging
Power your projects through a 5V USB-C interface or a 3.7V lithium-ion battery via the onboard PH2.0 connector. The integrated management circuit supports battery charging and switches automatically between USB and battery power.

Broad development environment support
Developers can programme the board using the Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF, or MicroPython to suit their workflow. Generous 16MB Flash and 2MB PSRAM allocations provide ample room for complex firmware and LVGL-driven user interfaces.
Compact format for easy embedding
Measuring just 25.4mm by 60mm with standard FireBeetle V2 pin spacing and stamp-hole edges, the board integrates smoothly into custom carrier PCBs and tight enclosures.
