Description
The FireBeetle 2 ESP32-E is an IoT-focused development board powered by an ESP-WROOM-32E dual-core microcontroller with integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Equipped with onboard Li-ion battery charging and pre-soldered headers, it is tailored for makers, students, and engineers developing smart home, wearable, and low-power IoT projects.
Dual-core ESP32-E processing power
Built around the ESP-WROOM-32E module, the board features a 32-bit dual-core 240 MHz processor with 520 KB SRAM and 4 MB Flash memory. It provides low-power operation down to 2mA and supports programming via the Arduino IDE.

Integrated Wi-Fi and dual-mode Bluetooth
The board supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi up to 150 Mbps and Bluetooth 4.2 with both BLE and BR/EDR support. This enables direct wireless connectivity to local networks and cloud IoT platforms like IFTTT.
Comprehensive peripheral and pin layout
It provides 18 digital pins, 11 analogue inputs, dual DACs, 7 capacitive touch pins, and hardware buses including UART, SPI, I2C, and I2S. A dedicated GDI display port and an onboard WS2812 RGB LED allow straightforward screen and status integration.

Onboard lithium battery charging circuit
Power can be supplied via the 5V USB-C interface, the VCC pin, or a 3.7V to 4.2V lithium battery through the integrated PH2.0 connector. The onboard charging circuit recharges connected Li-ion cells directly from USB power.
Pre-soldered headers and compact footprint
Measuring 25.4 mm by 60 mm, this pre-soldered version is ready to plug directly into breadboards and compatible shields without manual soldering. Please note that FireBeetle 2 pinouts and dimensions are not compatible with first-generation FireBeetle boards.
