Description
The FireBeetle 2 ESP32-C6 is a compact, low-power IoT development board designed for smart home automation, remote monitoring, and connected devices. Powered by a 160MHz RISC-V processor with native support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, Zigbee 3.0, Thread 1.3, and Matter, it is ideal for makers, students, and engineers building modern smart hardware. Integrated solar battery management and ultra-low sleep current make it equally well suited for remote, battery-powered sensing projects.
Multi-protocol wireless and Matter support
The board features native support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, Zigbee 3.0, and Thread 1.3, making it fully interoperable with modern Matter ecosystems. It can operate as a native Matter Wi-Fi or Thread terminal device, or combine with other controllers to serve as a Zigbee bridge or Thread border router.

Target Wake Time power efficiency
Wi-Fi 6 Target Wake Time (TWT) allows the microcontroller to negotiate wake schedules with access points, only turning on the radio when data transmission is needed. Combined with a deep-sleep current as low as 36µA in battery-powered mode, it ensures extended operating life for low-duty-cycle IoT devices.

Integrated solar and battery charging
Equipped with onboard lithium battery management, the board accepts power via USB Type-C, 5V DC, or a 5V solar panel with up to 0.5A charging current. Dedicated battery voltage detection allows projects to monitor power levels proactively during off-grid or outdoor deployment.

Display interface and sensor expansion
An onboard GDI port provides direct plug-and-play connection to compatible displays for real-time visual output. With full compatibility across DFRobot Gravity and Fermion sensors, it adapts smoothly to environmental monitors, weather stations, and plant soil trackers.

Flexible programming and peripheral control
The 160MHz RISC-V core comes with 512KB SRAM, 4MB Flash, and support for both Arduino IDE and MicroPython programming. Hardware interfaces include 19 digital I/O pins, 7 ADC channels, 6 PWM channels, SPI, I2C, UART, I2S, and an infrared transceiver.
