Dual isolated RS485 channels

Powered by the CH432T serial chip and dual TP75176E transceivers, this board delivers two independent communication channels. Built-in electrical and signal isolation eliminates ground loops and suppresses common-mode interference during long-range differential signalling.

Industrial-grade circuit protection

The expansion HAT incorporates power supply isolation, TVS diodes, and lightning and surge protectors. These protective stages shield your connected Raspberry Pi against unexpected voltage spikes and harsh environmental conditions.

Clear status indicators and pluggable wiring

Wiring is made straightforward using 5.08-3P pluggable terminal blocks paired with onboard 120-ohm terminal resistors to prevent signal reflections. Onboard LEDs provide instant diagnostic feedback with a red power indicator, blue TX status, and green RX activity.
