DB9 Male to RJ45 Female Adapter

The DB9 Male to RJ45 Female Adapter enables RS232 serial communication across standard network cabling. It is an ideal solution for technicians, makers, and educators needing to extend serial device links over longer runs without custom wiring.

Serial signal extension over network cable

This adapter converts a DB9 male serial connection to an RJ45 female port to route serial data through standard patch leads. When used as a pair over CAT5 or CAT6 cabling, it extends RS232 serial communication up to 20 metres.

Dual-module pairing and signal support

Two modules are required to complete a serial-to-network-to-serial link between hardware endpoints. In addition to serial data communication, the transmission path supports 720P and 1080P analog HD formats.

Nickel-plated anti-oxidation contacts

The connector features nickel plating to prevent oxidation and ensure sensitive, dependable contact. This construction maintains stable signal transmission across extended cable runs.

Driverless plug-and-play compatibility
