BC04-B Stackable Bluetooth Shield with Master/Slave Switch

The BC04-B Stackable Bluetooth Shield adds wireless serial communication to your Arduino setups. Featuring master or slave configuration and configurable UART routing, it allows seamless data transfer between your controller and other devices. It is well suited to learners, hobbyists, and makers building wireless and remote-controlled robotics projects.

Flexible UART configuration

The shield can communicate via software serial on digital pins 3 (RX) and 4 (TX) or hardware serial on digital pins 0 (RX) and 1 (TX). An onboard switch also allows you to direct module serial signals to the Arduino or out to external pins.

Master and slave modes

Based on the BC04-B module, this shield provides selectable master or slave functionality for diverse project setups. A dedicated onboard reset button allows you to clear the active pairing status at any time.

Status indication and logic selection

An integrated LED connected to digital pin 2 indicates pairing state, flashing rapidly when searching and remaining solid when connected. An onboard 5V/3.3V selector switch sets the UART logic level to protect connected pins.

Stackable footprint

Designed to plug directly onto standard Arduino headers, this shield maintains a stackable form factor and provides standard 2.54 mm breakout pins for interfacing extra components.
