The High-performance Raspberry Pi AI Racing Kit is a professional self-driving RC car designed for deep learning and autonomous racing. Carbon fibre suspension chassis

This professional-grade version features an upgraded carbon fibre chassis equipped with four-wheel-drive independent suspension. It is driven by a high-speed carbon brush motor to deliver robust, stable performance on the track.

DonkeyCar project compatibility

The kit fully supports the DonkeyCar open-source project, enabling autonomous self-driving capabilities. By using deep learning and neural networks, the car can be trained to navigate tracks using visual data.

PiRacer Pro expansion board

The onboard expansion board integrates a 0.91-inch OLED display with a 128 x 32 resolution for real-time diagnostics. It also includes an INA219 chip for real-time monitoring of battery voltage and current.

Lithium battery protection

An onboard HY2120 and AOD514 lithium battery protection circuit works alongside an FP5139 automatic buck-boost voltage regulator for safe operation. The expansion board supports four 18650 batteries, which must be less than 67mm in length and are not included.

Visual inspection camera

The kit includes an RPi Camera (G) with an acrylic spacer and dedicated holder to facilitate real-time visual tracking. This camera captures the track environment to feed visual data directly to your autonomous driving models.

Wireless gamepad controller

A wireless gamepad is provided to allow manual control of the racing car during setup and training runs. This allows you to drive the vehicle manually to record the necessary training data for your self-driving algorithms.
