Competition eligibility

Legal for FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). Eligibility is set by each season's game manual — check the current rules before you compete.

As the name suggests, linear bearings are for linear motion. These specialty bearings contain tiny steel balls inside which cycle through the internal cage as they roll down a shaft. The seals on each end protect the internals from collecting debris, thus providing smooth movement with minimal friction.
