Offset Standoffs have threaded holes like conventional standoffs, but by design, shift one threaded hole to a location between the standard grid holes. The offset is desired when the attaching parts necessitate a slight shift for proper fitment.For those times where it would be helpful to have holes offset 4mm from the original locations. Offset standoffs have three mounting holes. Two holes are spaced 8mm apart to align with the grid pattern. The third hole is horizontally centered between the first two, and vertically offset by 4mm. This opens up some build options you would not otherwise be able to tap into. Offset standoffs pair well with V-Wheels and W-Wheels which call for very specific mounting distances when used in conjunction with V-Guide as a linear motion support mechanism.
