This 315 MHz RF wireless link kit provides a straightforward one-way remote control solution for electronics projects. Comprising an MX-FS-03V transmitter head and an MX-05V receiver module, it enables basic remote triggering and switching across distances of up to 200 metres. Wireless remote control performance

Operating at 315 MHz on amplitude modulation (AM), this module pair is designed for remote control switching and safe operation at up to two commands per second. Transmission distance ranges from 20 to 200 metres depending on the transmitter operating voltage and environment.

Transmitter and receiver hardware

The MX-05V receiver operates on 5 V DC with a quiescent current of 4 mA and a sensitivity rating of -105 dB. The compact 19 x 19 mm MX-FS-03V transmitter accepts an operating voltage of 3.5 V to 12 V, delivering 10 mW transmitting power with a 4 KB/s transfer rate.

Wiring and antenna setup

The transmitter module provides a three-pin interface arranged from left to right as DATA, VCC, and GND. For optimal reception, the receiver connects to a 32 cm single-core spiral antenna, while the transmitter uses a 25 cm wire antenna kept clear of interference and shielding.
