Description

The Wireless Charging Module 5V/1A delivers contactless power transfer using resonant magnetic coupling to run devices or charge batteries without physical connections. Supplying a steady 5V output at up to 1.2A, it is an excellent power solution for makers, hobbyists, and students building sealed enclosures or moving mechanisms.

High efficiency resonant coupling

The module utilises resonant magnetic coupling technology to transfer energy across an operating distance of 2 mm to 10 mm. This design reduces electricity consumption during transmission, achieving up to 90% transfer efficiency.

Stable 5V power output

Powered by a standard 5V input, the receiver provides a regulated 5V output at 1A with a peak output current of 1.2A. It provides a reliable power supply for microcontrollers, sensors, and battery-charging circuits.

Suitable for dynamic projects

Wireless power eliminates wire tangling and mechanical wear in moving installations, making it well suited for rotating projects such as persistence-of-vision displays and robotic joints.

Compact insulated coil design

Both the transmitter and receiver terminals use insulated coils with an outer diameter of 43 mm, inner diameter of 20 mm, and a slim 2.3 mm thickness. Their compact profile allows for easy mounting inside tight project enclosures.

Complete transmitter and receiver pair

The kit includes one transmitting module and one receiving module, providing everything needed to set up an inductive power link straight out of the box.
