Wide-angle obstacle detection

The sensor operates on the 77GHz frequency band, offering a wide 120-degree detection angle and a range of up to 20 metres. It features native support for ROS1 and ROS2, making it highly compatible with modern robotic development frameworks.

Compact and integrated design

Measuring just 40x40x24.5mm with its protective housing, this compact radar easily integrates into space-constrained projects. It features a TTL peripheral interface and delivers real-time feedback on obstacle distance, angle, and speed for low-speed collision avoidance.

Advanced frequency modulated technology

The unit emits conical frequency-modulated electromagnetic waves to calculate target distance via time-of-flight and speed via the Doppler effect. It is highly effective at identifying dynamic targets, large geometric shapes, and highly reflective materials like metal.

This 60g sensor operates on a 9.0V to 24V DC power supply with a low power consumption of 2.5W. It provides a ranging accuracy of plus or minus 0.1 metres, an angular accuracy of plus or minus 1 degree, and a speed measurement range of -60km/h to +60km/h.
