The WHEELTEC GPS Beidou Multi-Mode Positioning Module (G60) is a high-precision, low-cost GNSS receiver designed for outdoor navigation and maker DIY projects. Supporting multiple satellite constellations, this highly sensitive module is ideal for students, educators, and hobbyists building autonomous robotic systems. It offers reliable positioning in a compact form factor with options for both bare-board and rugged metal-cased deployments.

Versatile housing options

The G60 module is available in two distinct physical formats to suit your project requirements. You can choose the lightweight bare-board version for compact setups, or the version equipped with a rugged metal outer shell for enhanced durability.

Multi-constellation GNSS support

Based on the high-precision Zhongke Micro ATGM336H-5N chip, this module supports joint positioning across BDS, GPS, GLONASS, and QZSS constellations. This multi-mode capability ensures a horizontal positioning accuracy of under 2.5 metres, making it highly reliable for outdoor robotics and DIY maker projects.

Rapid signal acquisition

With support for GNSS-assisted positioning, the module achieves a cold start Time-To-First-Fix of 32 seconds or less, and a hot start of 1 second or less. It operates at a positioning update rate of 1Hz, providing steady and consistent location updates for your mobile platforms.

Standard serial communication

The module communicates using the standard NMEA0183 protocol over a serial interface. It supports a configurable baud rate range from 4800bps to 115200bps, with a default configuration of 9600bps, 8 data bits, no parity, and 1 stop bit.

Compact and lightweight design

Without its shell, the module measures just 48.5 by 26 mm and weighs a mere 6 grams. The metal-cased version measures 49.2 by 42.5 by 14 mm and weighs 28 grams, operating reliably across a wide temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius.
