Open-source STM32 control platform
This kit is built around the popular STM32 microcontroller and includes fully open-source schematics and source code. To assist with your studies, it comes complete with PID-related video tutorials and detailed development notes.

All-metal mobile balancing chassis
Unlike stationary linear inverted pendulums, this mobile cart design offers superior flexibility and active steering capabilities. The robust all-metal chassis features a rear-wheel drive layout with a front caster wheel, a vertical pendulum rod, and an onboard OLED display for real-time feedback.

Detailed physical and electrical specifications
The 1.26 kg kit features a 232.2 mm long by 184.2 mm wide cart with a 390 mm pendulum rod, reaching a total balanced height of 480 mm. It utilises a 12V rear-wheel dual-motor drive with differential steering, while both the encoder and angular displacement sensor operate on a 3.3V to 5V power supply.
