The Waveshare RP2040-LCD-0.96 is a compact microcontroller board powered by the Raspberry Pi RP2040 chip and integrated with a colourful 0.96-inch IPS screen. Processing power and built-in display

Driven by a dual-core Arm Cortex M0+ processor running up to 133 MHz, the board includes 264KB of SRAM and 2MB of onboard flash memory. The integrated 0.96-inch 65K colour IPS LCD provides a crisp 160x80 resolution, enabling real-time visual output without additional display modules.

Power and battery management

The module is equipped with an onboard MP28164 high-efficiency DC-DC buck-boost chip delivering up to 2A load current. A dedicated lithium battery recharge and discharge header allows you to power mobile and wearable builds easily.

Featuring 26 multi-function GPIO pins, the board supports 2 SPI, 2 I2C, 2 UART, 3 12-bit ADC channels, 16 controllable PWM channels, and 8 Programmable I/O state machines. The USB-C connector supports USB 1.1 host and device modes alongside simple drag-and-drop mass storage programming.

Development and integration
