Description
The Waveshare FT232RL USB-C to UART communication module provides reliable serial data transmission between your computer and microcontroller projects. Featuring an original FT232RL chip with configurable 3.3V and 5V logic levels, it is an essential tool for makers, students, and educators working with embedded electronics.
Flexible power and logic options
The module supports three VCCIO power modes via onboard jumper selection, offering 5V output, 3.3V output, or target-board powering from 3.3V to 5V when the jumper is left open.
Status indicators and pin breakout
Integrated TXD, RXD, and PWR LEDs give immediate visual feedback during operation. Core signals including TXD, RXD, RTS#, and CTS# are accessible via pinheaders, with remaining pins broken out to standard pitch through-holes compatible with universal prototype boards.
Wide platform compatibility
Equipped with a modern USB-C connector, the module supports a wide range of operating systems including Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11, Mac OS, Linux, Android, and WinCE.
