Description
The Waterproof Mirror Reflection Photoelectric Sensor Switch reliably detects transparent, semi-transparent, and opaque objects across a 10cm to 100cm range using an included reflector. Operating on a wide 10V to 30V DC supply, it is ideal for makers, students, and educators working on automation and robotic sensing projects. Built-in SmartTune calibration and dual NPN and PNP outputs ensure straightforward setup and versatile system integration.
Reflective object detection
Using a focused red spotlight beam and dedicated reflector, this photoelectric switch detects objects within a 10cm to 100cm range with 1mm repeatability. It features a fast 5ms response time and 15% hysteresis to reliably identify clear and opaque items alike.
One-touch SmartTune calibration
An onboard SmartTune button allows users to automatically calibrate maximum sensitivity by holding the button for over five seconds while facing the reflector. Short pressing the button toggles the output between normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) modes.
Dual LED diagnostic indicators
A green stability LED and an orange operation LED provide instant visual feedback on alignment and output status. Rapid flashing on both indicators serves as an integrated diagnostic warning for short-circuit faults.
Comprehensive circuit protection
Designed for safe operation in demanding environments, the sensor includes reverse polarity, over-current, surge, and short-circuit protection. It also features dual independent output protection and carries an IP24 environmental rating.
Flexible four-wire connectivity
The sensor comes fitted with a 2-metre pure copper flexible lead for easy cable routing. Wiring follows standard industrial colour coding: brown for DC positive, blue for negative, black for NPN output, and pink for PNP output.
Complete mounting kit
Each unit is supplied with the photoelectric switch, a matching reflector panel, a dedicated installation plate, and two M3 x 0.5 mounting screws.
