Waterproof DS18B20 Digital Temperature Sensor for Arduino (IP68, -10°C to +85°C)

The Waterproof DS18B20 Digital Temperature Sensor is a sealed probe designed for measuring temperatures in wet, humid, or distant environments. Operating on 3.0V to 5.5V power and data lines, it suits makers, students, and hobbyists building weather stations, smart home monitors, and greenhouse automation systems.

Rugged waterproof stainless steel probe

Housed in a 6mm diameter by 35mm long stainless steel tube with a 95cm cable, this sensor is designed for damp and outdoor conditions. The PVC jacket is recommended for use below 100°C to preserve long-term durability.

Precise digital temperature measurement

The probe offers ±0.5°C accuracy between -10°C and +85°C, with a total operational range spanning -55°C to 125°C. It supports user-selectable 9-bit to 12-bit resolution and achieves read times under 750ms.

Multi-drop 1-Wire communication

Utilising a 1-Wire interface, this sensor communicates with microcontrollers using only a single data line alongside ground and power. Each sensor features a unique 64-bit factory-burned serial number, allowing multiple probes to share one digital pin.

Wiring and circuit connection

Supplied with bare lead wires, the sensor requires a 4.7k ohm pull-up resistor between the VCC and Data lines for standard operation. It also features a built-in temperature-limit alarm system.
