Water Leak Detector

The Water Leak Detector is a dual-function monitoring sensor designed to identify both water leaks and liquid shortages in real time. Featuring configurable relay switching outputs, it allows makers, facility managers, and automation enthusiasts to safeguard critical installations against moisture damage. It integrates directly with alarm systems and automated equipment shut-off controls.

Dual leakage and shortage detection

The sensor features an integrated normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) design to detect both pooling water and depleted fluid levels. It triggers an alarm or shuts down connected equipment when water touches or drops below the two sensing probes.

Fast relay switch output

Equipped with a switch quantity relay output, the unit delivers a rapid response time of under 50ms. It operates across a 7V to 18V supply voltage while drawing less than 30mA of operating current.

Rugged IP66 waterproof housing

Built to withstand demanding domestic and industrial environments, the module carries an IP66 dustproof and waterproof rating. It operates reliably across an ambient temperature range from -10°C to 60°C.

Low-energy safe circuitry

The control circuit operates at very low potential energy, ensuring it will not ignite combustible materials in sensitive locations. It delivers high sensitivity with a low false-alarm rate.

Five-wire interface wiring

Measuring 47mm in diameter and 30mm in height, the compact unit provides colour-coded wiring for power and switching. Red and black wires connect to power, blue serves as common, green is normally open, and yellow is normally closed.
