Velleman K1823 1.5A Adjustable Regulated Power Supply Kit

The Velleman K1823 is a compact adjustable regulated power supply kit delivering a variable output between 1.5V and 35V. Built around the LM317 regulator IC, it ensures low ripple and stable regulation with built-in thermal overload and current limiting protection. It is an excellent DIY project for students, makers, and hobbyists assembling their own benchtop power source.

Adjustable power delivery

This power supply circuit provides an adjustable regulated output from 1.5V up to 35V with a maximum current rating of 1.5A. The onboard LM317 regulator provides significantly better ripple rejection and voltage regulation compared to conventional fixed regulators.

Built-in circuit protection

The regulator IC includes integrated current limiting and thermal overload protection for safe experimentation. To achieve the maximum power dissipation of 15W, external cooling must be added, as the kit is supplied without a heatsink.

Compact board design
