Description

The USB GPS Receiver is a high-sensitivity satellite positioning module powered by the UBX-G7020-KT chip with an integrated antenna. Designed for makers, educators, and robotics developers, it connects seamlessly via USB to single-board computers like the Raspberry Pi, LattePanda, and NVIDIA Jetson Nano.

High-sensitivity 56-channel tracking

Powered by the UBX-G7020-KT chipset, this receiver tracks across 56 channels supporting L1, L2, and L3 frequencies. It delivers tracking sensitivity down to -162dBm with a 1Hz update rate and 30ns timing accuracy.

Internal battery for rapid fixes

An onboard backup battery stores satellite status, last known position, and timing data while powered down. This enables rapid satellite acquisition on subsequent boot-ups, offering an average hot start time of 1 second and a warm start of 3 seconds.

Magnetic mounting and 2m extension

The module features an integrated magnetic base that secures directly onto metal surfaces, such as vehicle roofs or robot chassis. An included 2-metre USB cable offers ample reach for optimal outdoor or vehicle placement.

Broad controller compatibility

Standard USB connectivity allows simple plug-and-play operation with Raspberry Pi, LattePanda, and Jetson Nano boards. Configurable baud rates range from 4800 to 115200 bps for seamless integration into navigation and telemetry projects.

Rugged industrial-grade design

Measuring 38 by 49 by 16mm, the compact enclosure is rated for operating and storage temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. This makes it dependable for demanding robotics, outdoor tracking, and vehicle navigation deployments.
