Description
The USB Charger for 7.4V LiPo Battery is a compact, high-efficiency boost charging module designed to charge 2S lithium battery packs from a standard 5V USB source. It provides makers, students, and hobbyists with a lightweight charging solution for robotics and motor driver projects without requiring bulky mains power bricks. It can also be embedded directly into custom builds to add convenient onboard USB charging.
Clear board layout
Measuring just 28.0mm by 37.0mm, the compact module features reserved solder pads on both the charge input and battery ports for easy wiring and measurement. A built-in multifunction LED status indicator allows you to assess system and charging states at a glance.

Convenient USB power input
The charger accepts an input voltage of 3V to 6V via a micro USB port, allowing you to charge 7.4V batteries using a standard mobile phone adapter or power bank. This makes it ideal for field robotics, remote testing, and portable applications.

High-efficiency three-phase charging
Operating with greater than 90 percent efficiency, the boost circuit supplies up to 1A of charge current using trickle, constant current, and constant voltage charging phases. It achieves precise charging termination with a cutoff voltage of 8.4V (plus or minus 1 percent).
Comprehensive hardware protection
Built-in safeguards include battery over-charge and reverse-connection protection, as well as adaptive input current limitation, overheat protection, and reverse-connection protection on the USB input. A USB ESD shell provides additional resistance against electrostatic discharge.
Thermal management accessories included
The module comes supplied with a 14mm by 14mm by 7mm aluminium cooling fin and a matching 0.5mm thermal conductive silicone pad to aid heat dissipation. It is rated to operate across an ambient temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius.
