URM06 Narrow Beam Ultrasonic Distance Sensor (20-1000cm, UART)

The URM06 is a high-performance ultrasonic distance sensor engineered for precise long-range spatial awareness. Communicating via a UART interface, it is ideal for robotics builders, makers, and industrial monitoring applications requiring focused obstacle detection.

Long-range distance measurement

The sensor reliably detects targets across an operating range of 20cm to 10m (1000cm). This broad span makes it suitable for both mid-range obstacle avoidance and long-distance proximity sensing.

Focused 15-degree beam angle

A narrow 15° beam angle restricts peripheral interference and prevents false triggers from adjacent walls or objects. This directional focus ensures accurate tracking directly ahead of the sensor.

Accurate 1cm resolution

The unit outputs distance readings with 1cm resolution throughout its detection range. This fine granularity provides dependable feedback for navigation, mapping, and automated systems.

UART serial integration

Equipped with a UART serial interface, the sensor connects easily to microcontrollers and development boards. It is purpose-built for robotics navigation, obstacle detection, and industrial level or distance monitoring.
