URM06 - Narrow Beam Ultrasonic Distance Sensor (20～1000cm, PULSE)

The URM06 is a high-power ultrasonic distance sensor capable of detecting targets from 20cm up to 10 metres with a narrow 15-degree beam angle. Equipped with a standard TTL pulse interface and housed in a rugged threaded enclosure, it is well suited for makers, students, and engineers developing mobile robotics and industrial measurement systems.

Narrow 15-degree detection beam

A focused 15-degree beam angle at -6dB delivers high receive sensitivity, making the sensor effective for navigating narrow corridors and detecting soft targets.

Extended range with 1cm resolution

Operating at a 49.5kHz ultrasonic frequency, the sensor measures distances from 20cm to 1000cm with 1cm resolution for precise spatial awareness.

Rugged threaded PVC housing

The sensor is enclosed in a durable 50mm diameter PVC body weighing 50g, featuring a 35mm mounting thread that fits standard electrical pipe fittings.

TTL pulse interface and power specs

Designed to run on 6V to 12V DC with a 16mA rated current and 2A peak current, the unit outputs range data through a straightforward TTL pulse interface.

Wide environmental and application range

With an operating temperature range of -10°C to +70°C, this module is suitable for autonomous mobile robot navigation, liquid or material level sensing, and industrial control systems.
