Description
The Ultrasonic Liquid Level Monitoring Sensor delivers precise, non-contact level measurement across an adjustable 30 to 300 cm range with an ultra-short blind zone of just 1.5 cm. Built with an IP67 waterproof enclosure and UART Modbus output, it is an ideal solution for makers, educators, and engineers automating hydroponics systems, RV fluid tanks, or industrial storage containers.
Ultra-short blind zone and adjustable range
Featuring a blind zone of 1.5 cm or less, this sensor can monitor liquid levels significantly closer to the transducer face than conventional ultrasonic units. The maximum measuring distance can be adjusted via software commands from 30 to 300 cm, adapting seamlessly to tanks of various depths.

Six algorithm modes for surface stability
The sensor integrates six onboard algorithm modes to handle challenging fluid environments, including sloshing filtering, small-step filtering, and high-sensitivity tracking. Users can select real-time output with a 100 ms response time or smoothed, processed readings with a response time of 2000 ms or greater.

Nine configurable signal sensitivity levels
With nine selectable signal strength settings, the sensor allows users to tune detection sensitivity, effective range, and viewing angle between 10 and 50 degrees. This fine control helps tailor the acoustic beam to narrow containers or wider storage geometries.

Five levels of power noise reduction
Five built-in electrical filtering levels suppress interference from noisy switching regulators, battery setups, or long USB supply leads. Higher noise reduction settings ensure clean, reliable readings without sacrificing acoustic accuracy.

Rugged IP67 housing and wide voltage
Housed in durable polycarbonate with an IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating, the sensor operates reliably in ambient temperatures from -25°C to 65°C. It accepts a wide 3.3 to 12V supply voltage, features low average power consumption below 9 mA, and includes IEC61000-4-2 compliant electrostatic discharge protection.
