Description
The Ultrasonic 7-in-1 RS485 Weather Sensor is an industrial-grade meteorological station designed to monitor wind, rain, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and ambient light from a single integrated unit. It is ideal for makers, educators, and engineers building agricultural monitoring systems, automated greenhouses, and remote weather stations.
Comprehensive seven-parameter monitoring
The station replaces seven discrete sensors by capturing wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, light intensity, and rainfall. This all-in-one design simplifies outdoor mounting and significantly reduces wiring complexity.

Solid-state wind and optical rain sensing
Ultrasonic wind sensing operates without moving mechanical parts, providing 0 to 40 m/s measurement range with rapid 1-second response times and minimal maintenance. Rainfall is captured by an optical tipping bucket gauge with 0.1 mm resolution and plus or minus 4 percent accuracy.

Weatherproof industrial housing
Constructed from UV-resistant ABS polymer with an IP54 waterproof rating, the sensor is built to endure harsh outdoor weather. It operates reliably across an extended temperature range from minus 40 to 80 degrees Celsius.

Standard RS485 Modbus-RTU communication
Data is transmitted via standard RS485 using the Modbus-RTU protocol, enabling long-distance, noise-resistant communication. This allows straightforward integration with Arduino boards, PLCs, LoRaWAN transceivers, and industrial automation networks.
Wide-voltage DC power supply
A wide input range of DC 10V to 30V with a low working current under 10 mA makes the sensor ideal for solar-powered remote installations. The package includes a 14 cm sensor pigtail and a 150 cm adapter cable.
Agricultural and greenhouse automation
Sensor readings can directly drive environmental controls, such as triggering irrigation from rain metrics, regulating ventilation via temperature and humidity, or adjusting supplemental lighting based on lux readings up to 200,000 Lux.
