Description
This ultra-thin circular flex force sensor uses a graphene-based design to deliver accurate tactile pressure detection across a 20g to 6kg range. Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 120°C and supporting direct soldering, it is ideal for makers, robotics engineers, and students building robotic grippers, automotive monitors, or interactive interfaces.
High-temperature graphene construction
Unlike standard FPC sensors that degrade under thermal stress, this graphene unit operates reliably between -40°C and +120°C. Its robust composition ensures stable data acquisition during extended heat exposure in engine bays and industrial machinery.
Linear response and sub-millisecond latency
The sensor measures forces from 20g to 6kg with a linear change in resistance, simplifying data processing and calibration. It features an actuation time under 0.01 seconds and a response latency below 1ms for real-time robotic feedback.

Ultra-thin profile with direct soldering
At just 0.45mm thick, the sensor integrates into tight mechanical enclosures without altering physical clearances. It supports direct wire soldering, providing permanent and vibration-proof connections on robotic limbs and wearable devices.

Simple voltage divider circuit interface
Resistance ranges from under 200kΩ at 20g actuation to under 1kΩ at 6kg full scale. It connects directly to standard microcontroller analogue inputs using a 2kΩ series resistor in a basic voltage divider configuration.

High-cycle mechanical durability
Tested to exceed 10 million cycles under a 1kg load, this sensor provides exceptional longevity in high-frequency setups. It is suited for gripper force feedback, humanoid tactile skins, industrial safety interlocks, and touch panels.
