Description

The TS01 is an industrial-grade non-contact infrared temperature sensor designed to measure surface temperatures from -70°C to 380°C using a standard 4–20mA analog current loop. Encased in a rugged IP65-rated metal housing with optical filtering, it is ideal for makers, engineering students, and professionals building reliable thermal monitoring systems.

Non-contact thermal measurement

The sensor measures infrared intensity to calculate surface temperatures without physical contact across a range of -70°C to 380°C. Factory calibration and built-in temperature compensation ensure dependable measurement performance with accuracy up to ±0.5°C.

Industrial current loop output

Powered by a 7.5V to 36V DC supply, the sensor transmits data via an industry-standard 4–20mA current signal. Connecting the sensor to microcontrollers is straightforward when paired with a standard current-to-voltage converter module.

Narrow 5-degree field of view

A tight 5° field of view enables accurate distance sensing, allowing measurement of a 10cm diameter heat source from up to 116cm away. An integrated optical long-wave pass filter cuts off visible and near-infrared radiant flux to provide ambient light and sunlight immunity.

Rugged IP65 metal enclosure

The all-metal probe features an IP65 protection rating to withstand dust, water, and physical impacts in demanding conditions. It is rated for industrial operating environments with ambient temperatures between -40°C and 85°C.

Compact probe dimensions

Measuring 15.4mm in diameter and 78mm in length, the probe integrates easily into machinery and tight enclosures. It comes pre-wired with a 1.5m cable terminated with stripped, tin-plated wire leads for clean connections.
