Description

The TS01 is an industrial-grade non-contact infrared temperature sensor designed to measure surface temperatures accurately between -70°C and 270°C. Featuring a linear 0 to 3V analogue output and an IP65-rated metal housing, it is well suited to makers, educators, and engineers implementing automated thermal monitoring and robotics systems.

Narrow 5-degree field of view

The tight 5-degree field of view allows the sensor to measure a 10 cm heat source from up to 116 cm away. This narrow detection cone prevents surrounding background temperatures from interfering with non-contact target readings.

Durable IP65 metal housing

Built with an all-metal enclosure rated to IP65 standards, the sensor protects internal components against water, dust, and physical impact. It functions reliably within an industrial operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.

Optical filtering and factory calibration

An integrated long-wave pass optical filter blocks ambient sunlight and visible radiant flux for clean signal reception. Combined with internal temperature compensation and factory calibration, the sensor maintains accuracy levels up to ±0.5°C.

Analogue voltage output

The module outputs a standard 0 to 3 V analogue signal that is directly compatible with microcontroller ADC inputs and data acquisition systems. It operates smoothly across a wide DC power supply range of 5.0 V to 24 V with a 20 mA current draw.

Compact probe with extended lead

Measuring 15.4 mm in diameter and 78 mm in length, the compact probe fits neatly into tight mechanical assemblies. It includes a 1.5-metre connection cable terminated with DuPont connectors for straightforward wiring.
