Description

The TF02-Pro is an industrial-grade solid-state Time-of-Flight (ToF) LiDAR sensor capable of measuring distances up to 40 metres. Designed for UAV builders, robotics hobbyists, and automation engineers, it provides reliable real-time ranging in both indoor and harsh outdoor environments.

Long-range precision detection

The sensor measures distances from 0.1m up to 40m with a blind spot of just 10cm and an adjustable refresh rate up to 1000Hz. It maintains high accuracy with a tolerance of ±5cm up to 5 metres and ±1% across the 5m to 40m range.

Weighing only 50g and measuring 69mm x 41.5mm x 26mm, this sensor integrates effortlessly into space-constrained projects. Its mini form factor makes it an ideal choice for payload-sensitive drone builds and mobile robotics.

Robust outdoor protection

An IP65-rated enclosure protects internal optics and circuitry against dust, water, and pesticide corrosion. It operates reliably in full sunlight under ambient light conditions up to 100k lux without interference from airflow or humidity.

Versatile interfaces and power

The module supports both UART and I2C communication protocols to easily interface with microcontrollers, flight controllers, and single-board computers. It accepts a wide input voltage of DC 5V to 12V and features a narrow 3-degree field of view.

Wide-ranging practical applications

This rangefinder is well suited for drone altitude holding, terrain following, machine safety, and general distance instrumentation. It is also commonly used in smart parking infrastructure, intelligent transport systems, and precision agriculture.
