SHT31 Outdoor Temperature & Humidity Sensor (-40℃~125℃) - I2C

The SHT31 Outdoor Temperature and Humidity Sensor provides reliable environmental sensing housed in a weatherproof protective enclosure. Designed for DIY weather stations and outdoor monitoring systems, it offers high accuracy and low power consumption for makers, students, and educators.

Weatherproof housing for outdoor projects

The sensor is encased in a protective PE enclosure to withstand outdoor elements for agricultural and meteorological projects. While weatherproof against rain and humidity, it is not designed to be submerged in water.

Sensirion CMOSens precision sensing

Built on Sensirion capacitive and band-gap technology, the sensor achieves typical temperature accuracy of plus or minus 0.2 degrees Celsius and humidity accuracy of plus or minus 2 percent RH. It features internal auto-calibration, fast response times, and strong anti-interference capabilities.

Broad microcontroller compatibility via I2C

The module communicates over standard I2C and operates on supply voltages between 3.3V and 5V. This ensures straightforward integration with popular development boards including Arduino, micro:bit, and ESP32 controllers.

Measurement ranges and thermal limits

The unit detects relative humidity from 0 to 100 percent and temperatures from minus 40 to 125 degrees Celsius. Because of the PE shell material, it is recommended to keep operating exposure below 80 degrees Celsius.

Integrated one-metre cable

Each unit comes with an attached cable measuring approximately one metre in length, simplifying deployment across outdoor enclosures or mounting masts.
