Description
The SG90 continuous rotation micro servo is a lightweight 9-gram motor designed for continuous 360-degree movement. It provides up to 2.2 kg/cm of stall torque and operates between 4.8V and 6V. It is well suited to students, hobbyists, and makers building small mobile robots or continuous drive mechanisms.
Continuous rotation mechanism
This micro servo offers continuous 360-degree rotation with an operating speed of 0.1 seconds per 60 degrees under no load. It is equipped with nylon and fibre gears to support compact motorized movements.
Compact and lightweight form factor
With standard dimensions of 23 x 12.2 x 29 mm and a weight of just 9 grams, this unit easily integrates into tight enclosures and lightweight robotics chassis.
Power and wiring
The servo operates over a 4.8V to 6V range and delivers 1.8 kg/cm torque at 4.8V and 2.2 kg/cm at 6V. It connects using a standard JR/Futaba-style connector with a 10-microsecond dead band width.
