Serial 6-Axis Accelerometer for Arduino

The Serial 6-Axis Accelerometer is a precision motion-tracking module integrating a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, and an onboard processor. Equipped with built-in Kalman filtering and attitude-solving algorithms, it delivers stable orientation data for robotics projects, drones, and student engineering experiments.

Advanced Kalman filtering and processing

The onboard high-performance processor runs dynamic motion-solving and Kalman filter algorithms to calculate real-time attitude. Built-in digital filtering reduces measurement noise, achieving static accuracy of up to 0.05 degrees and dynamic accuracy of 0.1 degrees.

Configurable 3D motion measurement

The module measures 3D acceleration, 3D angular velocity, and attitude angles across a full plus or minus 180-degree range. Users can select acceleration ranges of plus or minus 2g, 4g, 8g, or 16g, and angular velocity ranges of plus or minus 250, 500, 1000, or 2000 degrees per second.

Serial communication and wiring

The sensor communicates over a standard TTL serial interface with adjustable data output rates between 0.1Hz and 200Hz. The supplied wiring connects directly to compatible embedded boards and controllers.

Flexible voltage compatibility

An integrated voltage regulator allows the module to operate safely on input voltages from 3.3V to 5V. Pin logic levels are fully compatible with both 3.3V and 5V embedded development systems.

Compact dimensions and package contents

The board measures 51.3mm by 36mm by 10mm for straightforward mounting inside chassis and enclosures. The kit includes one 6-axis accelerometer board and one connection wire.
