Description
The seeMote Cube is a ready-to-integrate handheld spatial input device engineered for Apple Vision Pro and visionOS development. It combines real-time 6DoF tracking, six programmable physical buttons, and app-defined haptic feedback in a compact cube form factor. This device is ideal for spatial computing developers, robotics researchers, and educators building interactive prototypes without needing to construct custom controller hardware.
Real-time 6DoF tracking and interaction
The cube translates physical movement and rotation directly to virtual tools, pointers, and 3D objects within visionOS applications. It provides full 360-degree tracking coverage across all lighting conditions, from bright ambient light to complete darkness.

Three tactile interaction layers
Six programmable buttons allow developers to assign custom commands such as select, undo, confirm, or tool switching. An integrated vibration motor delivers app-defined haptic feedback for contact states, task completions, and boundary warnings.

Complete out-of-the-box hardware platform
Instead of assembling microcontrollers, IMUs, tracking markers, and power management circuits, developers receive a fully enclosed Bluetooth peripheral. The compact 56 mm regular hexahedron weighs 97.3 g and includes an integrated 500 mAh rechargeable battery powered via USB-C.

Native visionOS development resources
Native integration is supported via the Apple Spatial Accessory API and Swift SDK. The bundled resources provide sample source code, a USDZ model, reference accessory files, and step-by-step setup guides to accelerate prototyping.

Straightforward four-step integration flow
Development teams pair the device over Bluetooth, read tracking pose and button inputs, and map them to application actions. Custom haptic cues can then be triggered directly through software logic for immediate physical feedback.

Digital twin and inspection workflows
The device facilitates spatially guided inspections of complex digital twins in visionOS. Users can navigate defined checkpoints, review environmental status in context, and confirm findings using physical button inputs.

Robot path review and virtual teaching
Acting as a tangible 6DoF spatial reference, the cube enables engineers to place waypoints and inspect proposed motion trajectories. Physical controls allow direct confirmation of robotic sequences in immersive space.

Layered spatial model review
Engineers and designers can inspect intricate 3D assemblies layer by layer using physical motion to adjust viewpoints. The hardware buttons provide reliable selection and confirmation during detailed spatial evaluations.
