Description
The RS485 Modbus Water Quality pH Sensor (IP68) is an industrial-grade probe engineered for continuous, accurate liquid pH monitoring in demanding environments. Built with automatic temperature compensation and standard Modbus-RTU communications, it is ideal for makers, IoT developers, and educators working on automated environmental monitoring, smart agriculture, or aquaculture systems.
High-precision full-range measurement
The sensor measures pH levels across a full 0 to 14 pH range with 0.01 pH resolution, ±0.15 pH accuracy, and a fast response time under one second. Its integrated housing and probe design ensure repeatable readings with an error margin of just ±0.02 pH.

Modbus-RTU interface and temperature compensation
Equipped with an RS485 interface running standard Modbus-RTU, the sensor enables reliable long-distance data transmission for Arduino and LoRaWAN setups. An integrated temperature sensor provides Automatic Temperature Compensation across 0°C to 60°C to maintain accuracy during ambient fluctuations.

Submersible IP68 waterproof housing
Constructed from corrosion-resistant plastic with an IP68 ingress protection rating and 0.6MPa pressure resistance, the probe is built for extended continuous underwater submersion. It includes a 5-metre cable and is well suited for weakly acidic, weakly alkaline, and non-corrosive aqueous environments.

Pre-calibrated with field maintenance supplies
Factory calibration allows immediate out-of-the-box deployment without secondary tuning. The package includes three standard buffer powders (pH 4.01, 6.86, and 9.18) and 100ml of 3.3mol/L KCl protective solution to support periodic two-point register recalibration over long-term use.
Flexible supply and operating parameters
Operating on a wide 10V to 30V DC supply with a low 0.4W power consumption, the module integrates smoothly into industrial and battery-backed field systems. It functions reliably across an operating temperature range of 0°C to 80°C.
