Description
The ROCK Pi 4 Model SE is a high-performance single board computer powered by the hexa-core Rockchip RK3399-T processor and 4GB of 64-bit LPDDR4 memory. Featuring 4K HDMI output, M.2 expansion, and onboard wireless networking, it provides a capable alternative to traditional single board computers. It is ideally suited for students, makers, and engineers developing robotics, computer vision, and IoT applications.
Hexa-core Rockchip processing power
Powered by an Arm big.LITTLE architecture with dual Cortex-A72 and quad Cortex-A53 cores, the RK3399-T processor delivers responsive multitasking for demanding projects. It is paired with an Arm Mali-T860MP4 GPU and 4GB of 64-bit LPDDR4 RAM to handle graphical and compute-heavy workloads smoothly.

Flexible storage and onboard RTC
The board offers extensive storage possibilities with a Micro SD card slot, an eMMC socket, and an M.2 M-key connector for high-speed storage devices. An integrated real-time clock connector allows precise timekeeping even when the board is completely powered off.
40-pin GPIO expansion header
A standard 40-pin GPIO header provides broad compatibility with a wide range of maker accessories, hats, and sensors. It supports multiple peripheral interfaces, including dual UART channels, to simplify hardware prototyping.

Versatile operating system support
Utilising the ARMv8 instruction set, the board supports Debian and Ubuntu Linux distributions as well as Android versions 7.1 through 11. It also accommodates GPU-enabled AI stacks such as Caffe alongside dedicated hardware access libraries.

High-definition video and camera interfaces
A standard HDMI port outputs 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, complemented by 2-lane MIPI DSI display and 2-lane MIPI CSI camera interfaces. High-quality audio output and microphone input are supported via an onboard 3.5mm jack.

Dimensions and power delivery
The board features a compact layout and is powered via a USB Type-C port requiring a PD or QC power supply delivering 9V or 12V. Peripheral connectivity includes Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB 3.0 ports.
