Description

The RGB-D 3D ToF Sensor Camera combines time-of-flight depth measurement, an RGB camera, and an integrated IMU into a compact sensing module. Designed for robotics developers, university researchers, and makers, it provides ready-to-use point cloud data for SLAM navigation, gesture tracking, and 3D vision applications. It integrates smoothly into modern software stacks with out-of-the-box Linux, ROS1, and ROS2 support.

Combined RGB and depth imaging

The camera captures 320x240 depth maps at 30fps alongside 800x600 RGB colour imagery, supported by an integrated inertial measurement unit. It accurately maps indoor environments across a range of 0.2 to 2 metres with measurement error under one percent.

Flexible hardware interfaces

Connectivity is handled through a USB 2.0 Type-C port using an RNDIS virtual network interface alongside a 1.25mm UART interface. The sensor operates from a 5V 0.5A power supply and pairs with the included cooling fan for reliable continuous operation.

Flexible hardware interfaces

Native ROS and Python support

Driverless Linux support enables immediate deployment without compiling kernel modules. Developers can quickly integrate SLAM, 3D facial recognition, and robotic arm grasping using provided open-source ROS1 and ROS2 packages or the Python SDK.

Onboard processing and web preview

Powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex processor with a 0.4T NPU and 128MB RAM, the module serves real-time data directly over its local web interface. Users can inspect depth maps, IR streams, RGB video, and full 3D point cloud renderings directly within a standard web browser.

Compact chassis and complete accessories

With a footprint of just 36 x 36 x 13.5 mm and an approximate weight of 124g, the camera easily mounts to robotic platforms and AGVs. The package includes a desktop tripod stand, cooling fan, USB Type-C cable, and a 4-pin serial breakout cable.
