Description
The Raspberry Pi Pico 2 is a high-performance microcontroller board powered by the RP2350 chip, featuring selectable dual Arm Cortex-M33 or dual Hazard3 RISC-V cores. With robust hardware security, extensive input-output options, and low power consumption, it is suited to students, educators, hobbyists, and professional embedded developers.
Dual-architecture RP2350 processing power
The board is equipped with dual Arm Cortex-M33 cores running at up to 150MHz alongside dual Hazard3 RISC-V cores. This flexible architecture allows developers to boost processing performance and experiment with alternative core setups.

Hardware-level embedded security
Built around Arm TrustZone for Cortex-M, the microcontroller provides signed boot support, SHA-256 hardware acceleration, and a true random number generator. It also includes 8KB of on-chip OTP memory to protect embedded systems.
Flexible interfacing and programmable I/O
Featuring 30 GPIO pins including 4 analog inputs, the board provides 2 UARTs, 2 SPI controllers, 2 I2C controllers, 24 PWM channels, and a USB 1.1 controller. Three Programmable I/O blocks with 12 state machines handle complex custom peripheral interfacing with minimal CPU overhead.

Low power consumption and regulation
Manufactured on a 40nm process node, the RP2350 delivers low dynamic power usage and supports multiple low-power modes for extended battery life. Power delivery is managed via an on-chip programmable LDO for core voltage alongside two on-chip PLLs.
High-performance memory and software support
The board features 520KB of high-performance SRAM and supports up to 16MB of off-chip Flash memory via a QSPI bus. Comprehensive documentation and a dedicated MicroPython port ensure an accessible development workflow for beginners and experienced makers alike.
