The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ is a versatile single-board computer powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor running at 1.4 GHz with 1 GB of LPDDR2 RAM. It features dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless networking, Bluetooth 4.2, and improved Ethernet throughput. Upgraded processing performance
Equipped with a Broadcom BCM2837B0 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz, this revision provides a notable speed increase over previous versions. A metal heat spreader is fitted over the processor to aid in managing thermal dissipation.
Enhanced network connectivity
The board features dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz IEEE 802.11ac wireless LAN alongside Bluetooth 4.2 and BLE. The on-board LAN7515 controller delivers Gigabit Ethernet over USB 2.0 with throughput speeds reaching up to 300 Mbps.
Versatile interfaces and expansion
Hardware expansion is supported through an extended 40-pin GPIO header, four USB 2.0 ports, and a micro SD slot for your operating system. Dedicated CSI and DSI ports enable direct connection to camera and touchscreen modules, complemented by a full-size HDMI port and a 4-pole audio/composite video jack.
Power and PoE support
The unit operates on a 5V 2.5A DC power input. It also includes a 4-pin header for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) capability when paired with a compatible PoE HAT.
