The on-board MSGEQ7 graphic equaliser display filter splits audio signals into seven distinct frequency bands. Your microcontroller can read peak levels at 63Hz, 160Hz, 400Hz, 1kHz, 2.5kHz, 6.25kHz, and 16kHz.
