Description
The Miniature Non-contact Liquid Level Sensor detects fluid levels through non-metallic container walls using capacitive sensing, preventing direct fluid contact. Operating at 3.3V to 5V DC with a simple high or low logic output, it is ideal for makers, students, and engineers developing automated fluid-monitoring projects. Its external detection method avoids contamination and corrosion, making it suitable for everything from domestic appliances to harsh chemical systems.
Safe non-contact liquid detection
The sensor detects liquid levels through plastic, glass, or ceramic walls up to 15mm thick without touching the fluid. This non-contact design eliminates risks of corrosion, contamination, and media adhesion, making it safe for strong acids, alkalis, and toxic liquids in sealed containers.

One-touch automatic calibration
Pressing the onboard sensitivity button triggers an automated 3 to 5 second calibration cycle. The module automatically locks in the optimal sensitivity threshold for the container material and wall thickness without manual potentiometer adjustments.

Precision capacitive signal processing
An integrated control IC tracks capacitance variations when liquid nears the sensing area and processes differential signals via an internal algorithm. This provides reliable liquid detection with an accuracy of ±3mm and a 500ms response time.
Ultra-thin IP67 waterproof housing
With a profile of just 6.1mm, the ultra-compact form factor integrates neatly into confined enclosures. The housing is molded from PC-V0 flame-retardant material with an IP67 waterproof rating, rated to operate between -20°C and 65°C.
Simple microcontroller integration
The sensor operates on 3.3V to 5V DC, consumes 5mA (±2mA), and supplies up to 100mA on its digital output line for direct connection to Arduino and other development boards. It comes with a 50cm cable and suits applications ranging from coffee machines and water purifiers to sealed chemical storage tanks.
