MG995 Full Metal Gear Servo Motor, 12 kg/cm, 180°

The MG995 is a high-torque standard servo motor equipped with durable metal gears and a 180-degree rotation range. Capable of delivering up to 12 kg/cm of working torque, it provides dependable mechanical motion across a 3.0V to 7.2V operating range. It is well suited to robotics students, makers, and RC hobbyists building articulated mechanisms and radio-controlled models.

High torque and metal gear construction

Built with internal metal gearing, this servo motor delivers strong mechanical durability and a working torque of 12 kg/cm. It offers controlled movement across a 180-degree rotation angle with a fast 4-microsecond working dead zone.

Speed and operating voltage

The servo operates across a DC 3.0V to 7.2V supply range, delivering no-load response speeds of 0.17 seconds per 60 degrees at 4.8V and 0.13 seconds per 60 degrees at 6.0V. It operates reliably in environmental temperatures ranging from -30°C to +60°C.

Universal wiring and connection

The motor is fitted with a 30 cm connection cable terminated in a universal JR and Futaba compatible plug. Wiring is clearly arranged with a yellow signal lead, red power lead, and brown ground lead.

Included mounting hardware

The package includes servo rudder horns, fixing screws, vibration damping rubber sleeves, and aluminium sleeves for mounting and installation.
